Suitability: Tsukishima is strong and independent person. He stays calm and collected in all kinds of situations, using his brain to work his way out if it. He doesn’t like being bossed around by anyone, especially by those who others proclaim to be amazing and leaders (like Kageyama). That being said, he will strongly rely on himself to survive and need to use intercourse as a way to cure the sickness could end up being tricky. Mainly because it involves another person and nothing else. He’s a growing boy and exploring sexuality is what happens to all, so having sex, while not the most favorable option for him, is not an issue. The problem is next – people don’t initially like Tsukishima and those that do are either very similar to him and can retaliate better, or are completely oblivious to stuff he says and can ignore him. So finding person that he can get along with to have sexual activities will be a huge challenge, but not impossible. After all- being sick is worse than having to deal with loud, slovenly lot. That, and the fact that he can get headphones and ipod back into his possession, or even get back home (although he doubts it is that easy) by worshiping is a plus side for him- he’ll be able to block out all the unnecessary noises and people that grate his nerves.

Power: Not having the powers by canon, I chose for him Air- Summoning: The ability to summon butterflies, dragonflies, and other small flying insects. (In the future more grandiose animals will be able to be summoned.) Update: Top level air summoners may now call upon swarms of insects like wasps and locus, as well as birds and bats.

Personality:Tsukishima Kei is the epitome of 'don't let the looks deceive you'. He's tall, has blond hair, dazzling, sharp eyes, he plays as starter for volleyball team along with having great grades, ranking high on the score board. A perfect kid. Until he opens his mouth. And that's where all the good stuff on the surface - being nice, exemplary student - falls into water.

Tsukishima has little to no respect to people that surround him- except for those that deserve it in some way, which is quite a rare occurrence. The only ones that currently have Tsukishima's respect are: mother, brother, Yamaguchi (his closest friend), Sugiwara and Daichi (who are third year at Karasuno). As for everyone else, he thrives on riling them up, seeing their reactions and then prodding them further about it. He has an ego, and what's worse, he has wits to back it up with. Sarcasm is his middle name and he has no qualms insulting person older than him. He can be rather mean at the times and he doesn't seem bothered by it one bit.

And it happens on many occasions that people want to use violence against him. He is seen to have no tact whatsoever (on purpose!) , and his words can make vicious wounds. But despite the fact that people would gladly get into fistfight with him, they never do. Standing at full 190cm’s, his stare “from the above” combined with cynical, threatening smile, Tsukishima can be quite frightening. He is known to be very unpleasant towards loud, obnoxious, hyper people, even if they are his closest friends. He can be trully overbearing and hard to handle which pushes people away from him.

But, similar to every coin, Tsukishima also has his flip side. No, he's still not nice, and his social skills are still something to be desired. Below the surface, Tsukishima is very emotional person. Sad part of that is that all the emotions bottled up in him are the ones of sadness and disappointment, caused by his brother. That's why he does well in school, but is not straight A student. That's why he's a starter on volleyball team, with all skills he needs but without any motivation. His brother's lying about being starter on volleyball team left hard impact on younger Tsukishima, who grew to love the sport because of him. The feeling of "no matter how hard you try, it may never pay off" stays with him to this day.

Tsukishima has only one friend, and having Yamaguchi as a friend is a miracle by itself. It is mostly because of the other boy's admiration towards Tsukishima that he has someone to talk to and walk back home from school. He saved the boy from the bullies way back in the middle school, and Yamaguchi started following him around ever since. But even that relationship is on glassy legs and it is just matter of time when push will come to shove and break it up. Tsukishima doesn't want to think about what he will do if he loses Yamaguchi's friendship and he's aware that he takes it for granted. When his friend got really mad at him about volleyball practice and the fact that Tsukishima's not putting any effort in it despite his skills, he realized just how this one friend of his is precious to him. It is rare for Tsukishima to accept anyone’s critique, but it was issued by Yamaguchi, friend who spent his time with him regardless of his lousy habits and bad influence, so he took it in consideration and praised his friend that he grew in "quite a cool person".

Nevertheless, that didn't change Tsukishima's opinion on training - at the given moment. He needed some time by himself, whole summer training camp and a talk with his brother before finally making up his mind and dedicating one good chunk of his time to practice. He easily succumbs to depression, however, especially when topic about his brother and volleyball comes up and he will use all means to avoid talking about it.

Tsukishima wasn't always like this- in elementary and middle school, he was normal, cheerful boy with lots of friends, talkative and easily excited. Tsukishima sometimes wonders how all of that changed but he never dwells on it too much. Past is past and it is not something he can change. He easily connects to the present and can bring rational decisions in blink of an eye. And that is why he’s, next to Kageyama, one of the smartest people on the court for Karasuno volleyball team. He assesses situation easily and can predict opponents’ moves and use it as an advantage for blocking them out. But being lazy and unmotivated kept his talents repressed for a long time.

Tsukishima tends to spend a lot of time by himself- he likes quiet environment and that the only "noise" comes from his headphones. He likes to read and he can be quite a loner at times. He's not a people-person and communicating with other people “normally” is like a chore to him. When he has to spend time with his team at the training camp, he has no problem in showing his displeasure by calling all of them 'slovenly bunch'. That, of course, got screams and yells thrown his way, but, as always, Tsukishima just turned his back to them and walked away.

It’s heavy. Tsukishima doesn’t want to open his eyes because he’s sure that he won’t be greeted with his own bedroom. His room doesn’t smell of mold, there aren’t any noises- especially not noises from falling water. He could feel water on his skin and moss and cold stone underneath his fingers. His body feels as if he ran laps whole day yesterday, heavy and for a short period of time, unable to move.

This isn’t real, this is just a dream – like a broken record, the sentence seems to be repeating itself in Tsukishima’s head and it’s actually starting to give him a headache. With reluctance, he opens his eyes and is greeted with a blurry darkness. Glasses – he needs his glasses. He lifts his hands and touches around his pockets and black sweatshirt. He finds the glasses in the inner pocket of it and something akin to paper in the pocket of his pants.

He pays no heed to paper at the moment as he slowly sits up and puts on his glasses. His vision stops spinning and he wonders, for a brief moment, if putting them on was a good decision. Because what he sees doesn’t really make it all that better.

There is no sky above him. There is no bed below him. To his right, a tunnel without light shows path into darkness. On his left, there is a waterfall, making hard noise as it hits the rocks beneath. And not too far away from it, there are even more people, laying around, just like he was mere moments ago.

When he stands up, he feels another odd thing on his persona- something familiar. Tsukishima could feel his heart do a frantic skip as he fishes out rectangular thing from his other pocket. A phone. Without knowing where he is and what is going on, he decides to do first reasonable thing – call back home. But he jumps as the device lets out a screeching sound then the very familiar sound of phone interference. No signal. He didn’t even notice that this isn’t his own phone.

Tsukishima leans against the nearby stone and rubs the bridge of his nose, trying to sum up the things – he is in underground cave with waterfalls, he has nothing but a phone with no signal and a crumpled piece of paper in his pocket. That reminds him- he didn’t check the paper yet- he is sure he doesn’t wear such things in his pockets unless very necessary. Upon reading the message, Tsukishima’s damp mood becomes even worse. He? Aid forces to save the world? This place probably lost its mind for choosing him over millions of people. He's sure that there is someone, out there, more skilled for this, more eager to do this. He's not a hero and he doesn't want to be one. Ever. This is more up Hinata’s and Kageyama's alley.

Subsiding the urge to rip the paper, he shoves it back in his pants and pushes away from the rock. He can’t do anything about this- at least not now. So he might as well find something or someone to give him any information about his predicament. He might not be the most enthusiastic person around, but he sure isn’t eager to die just yet.
